Years ago when my sister and her family moved into their new home she was complaining she couldn't find anything good to go on the wall of their media room and because of that they had been bear for three years. So I decided to make her family the actors in some movie posters and they were the first posters I ever created and I loved it. They are a ton of fun to make and the person they were made for loved seeing themselves depicted that way.
I enjoy making gifts for loved ones and friends for a number of reasons. Primarily, it's a great way of using my creativity and time to invest in making the people I love smile. Each time they look at the gift, it tells them I spent time and energy to make it just for them. It is also a great way to practice new techniques and learn new aspects of the programs I use to make them. I like to take any opportunity I can to learn and grow.
